Attica, Feb 22 – John Edward Marr, 77, retired farmer of Shawnee township died of a heart attack last night at 10:30 o’clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Smith on US Highway 41 south of here. Most of his life was spent in Shawnee Township. His wife, the former Mary Redman died 20 years ago. He leaves one son, David J, Veedersburg and five daughters, Mrs. Smith; Mrs. Borden Abolt, Mellott; Mrs. Clifford Wright, Denver; Mrs. Fred Gaylor, Aylesworth and Mrs. Evelyn Gray, Veedersburg. Friends may call at the Gaylor residence, west of Aylesworth where services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. Douglas Dickey officiating. Burial in Beulah cemetery near Rob Roy.
