Charles Lee Marquess, 50, Covington business man and resident died Friday at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville where he had been a patient three days with a heart condition. He was born Feb 20, 1909 in Texas, the son of Glenn and Emma Lawson Marquess. He was married to Marjorie Griffith on Dec 25, 1928 who survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are one daughter, Miss Kathryn Lee Marquess of Fort Wayne; two sons, Jay and Michael at home; his parents who reside in Tangier; two brothers, Carl of Attica and George of Marshall; two sisters, Mrs. Orville Brown of Gessie and Mrs. William Stonecipher of New Richmond and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Sunday at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Kbz
