ATTICA, Ind. (CNS) — Roy A. Marmaduke, 89, of Indianapolis, died yesterday (Oct. 12, 1969) at the Northwest Manor Nursing Home there. He had been a patient one month. Born Aug. 20, 1880, in Newtown, he was the son of Ruben and Martha Beckley Marmaduke. He was married to Bell Jones, who died in 1944. He later married Aline McCain, who died in1961. Mr. Marmaduke began his employment with the Sterling Drug Co. at Attica and moved to the company plant at Wheeling, W. Va., in 1909. After his retirement, he moved to LaMesa, Calif., and returned to Indianapolis this year. He was a member of the LaMesa Christian Church. Survivors include a nephew, Rex Marmaduke of Indianapolis. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. Vernon Seaton will officiate. The body is being returned to the Roemer Funeral Home in Attica. Friends will be received from 11 to 12 a.m. Tuesday. -- typed by Walt W --
