MARLATT, Ruth Kerr

Newtown — Mrs. Ruth Isabell Marlatt, age 69, of Wingate Rt. 1, near Newtown, died at 11:23 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, at the Williamsport Community Hospital. She had been ill five weeks. Born March 31, 1894, in Newtown, she was the daughter of Lewis and Rhoda Cooper Kerr. She was married in 1913 to Merle Marlatt, who survives. Mrs. Marlatt was a graduate of the First Commission High School in 1912. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Other survivors includes two daughters, Mrs. Roy Lucy of Monticello and Mrs. Robert Ward of Attica; three grandsons and a granddaughter. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Monday, Sept. 3, at the Roemer Funeral Chapel in Attica. The Rev. Peter Meemstra officiated. Burial was in the Newtown Cemetery.  --typed by Walt W

She died 'at 11:23 p.m., Friday in the Williamsport Community Hospital.
Mrs. Marlatt was born March 31, 1894, in Newtown, the daughter of Lewis and Rhoda Cooper Kerr. In 1913, she was married to Merle Marlatt who survives as do two daughters, Mrs. Roy Lucy of Monticello and Mrs. Robert Ward of Attica, three grandsons and a granddaughter.
She was graduated in 1912 from the first commissioned high school and was a member of the Presbyterian Church. - jz
