MARIS, Ethel Moffett - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Ethel Maris, 81, Kingman d. Wed aft in Community Hosp, Williamport. She had been ill for several weeks and hospital the past 4 weeks. The daughter of James & Alice Moffett, Mrs. Maris was born Aug 17, 1887 in the Scott's Prairie neighborhood. She was married to Frank Maris who preceded her in death on March 17, 1968. She was a member of United Methodist Church, Kingman and Ladies Aid Society. She is survived by one son, Dr. Lee Maris, Attica, 3 granchildren and nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Friday at Woodrow Funeral Home, King Rev. Kemp Tunis, Staunton Ind officiating. Burial in Harveysburg Cemetery.
