THREE GREAT ladies and wonderful genealogists saved many old obituaries and put them into a binder – they let me use them for the GenWeb page – thanks so much to Fauniel Hershberger; Claudine Yerkes and Betty Dotson (my adopted 2nd mom – loved that lady) – these were mostly mid 1940s deaths but no dates or newspapers are noted.
Word has been received by Abram Harvey of Kingman of the death of his cousin, Dr. Albert Maris in California where he moved five years ago from Kansas City where he was for years associated with a well-known clinic. Dr. Maris had often visited his sisters, the late Mrs. Charles Spencer and Mrs. James Copeland at Kingman and another sister, Mrs. Lindus Hadley now living in Sylvania. He is survived by one son Lt. Col. Ward Maris. Burial was made at Kansas City. – kbz
