MARANA, Michael - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

VEEDERSBURG - Michael Marana, 108 E. Fourth St., Veedersburg, died at Jacksonville, Ill., 3 p.m. Monday. He had been ill several years. Born April 23, 1901, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Marana. He was married to Ruby Walter on Sept. 23, 1929. He was employed at one time as a foundry worker. He is survived by the widow and three uncles, Albert and Dave Marana of Terre Haute, and Joseph Hanna of Illinois. Services were Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lamey Funeral Home, 309 W. Seventh St. Veedersburg, with Rev. Earl Carmichael officiating. Interment was in Snoddy Cemetery south of Covington. - jlr
