WILLIAMSPORT, Ind. (CNS) - Arrangements are pending at the Fisher Funeral Home for Moss L. Manus, 67, of Williamsport, who was killed in a train wreck at Johnsonville Thursday morning (Oct. 5, 1972). (See story on Page l). Mr. Manus was born Sept. 30, 1905, in Bowling Green, Ky., the son of Samuel and Mamie Steward Manus. On Jan. 18, 1928, in Attica, he married Julia May Stokes, who survives. A resident of Williamsport since 1928, he had been a self-employed carpenter for many years and had worked at Harrison Steel Castings Co. in Attica for a short time. He was a member of the Williamsport Christian Church. Other survivors include eight daughters, Mrs. Frances Higgins of Dallas, Tex., Mrs. Violet Adams of Williamsport, Mrs. Barbara Burleson of Pence, Mrs. Mary Britton of West Lebanon, Mrs. Clara Goetz of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Linda Thorpe Of Killeen, Tex., Kathryn Sue and Edna May, both at home; four sons, Ernest Lee of Ogden, Utah, Robert Rean of Lafayette, Richard Kenneth of Pence and Samuel G. of South Boston, Mass; a sister, Mrs. Audrey Brooks of Fowler; and two half-sisters, Mrs. Esther Uhle of Indianapolis and Mrs. Martha Calloway of Needham. A daughter and a brother preceded him in death. - jlr
