Mrs. L. Jane Oilar Manne, 78, of 823 N. 7th St., died at 7:35 p.m. Monday in St. Elizabeth Hospital where she was admitted a week ago. She had been in failing health a year. Born near Veedersburg, Mrs. Manne lived in the Sterling area for several years before moving to Lafayette in 1933. In 1921 she was married at Covington to A. Ross Manne, who was a retired Monon Railroad engineer prior to his death in 1975. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jo Hildebran Ticen of Orlando, Fla.; and two brothers, Thurman Oilar of Attica and Clifford Oilar of Veedersburg. – jlr
