NEWTOWN, Ind. (CNS) - Mrs. Myrtle A. Mann, 80, of Newtown, died at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday (March 26, 1974) at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. She had been a patient 15 days. Born Aug. 30, 1893, in Warren County, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Horn. She was married Dec. 26, 1917, at Williamsport to Luther Mann, a retired school teacher, who survives. Mrs. Mann graduated from Williamsport High and Indiana State Teachers College. She had taught school and was later employed by the REMC in Attica. A resident of Newtown since 1949, she was a member of the United Methodist Church, Quigle-Palin American Legion Post, Auxiliary, Study Club and Retired Teachers Organization of Montgomery-Fountain and Warren Counties. She was a past worthy matron of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter. - jlr
