VEEDERSBURG — Mrs. Amy Maltsberger of Rt. 2 Veedersburg died at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville. She was 78 years old. Mrs. Maltsberger was born on Sept, 28, 1888, in Wabash Township, Fountain County, the daughter of Bloomer and Olive Marlatt Hershberger. She was married to Scott Albert Maltsberger who died on March 22, 1940. Mrs. Maltsberger, a life resident of Fountain County, was a member of Coopers Chapel EUB Church and the Ladies Aid of the church. She also belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary of Veedersburg. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Doris June Brookshire of Veedersburg; a son, Donald Gene Maltsberger of Rt. 2, Veedersburg, and four grandchildren. A brother and three sisters preceded her in death. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Lawrence West and Nelson Vance officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday. --typed by Walt W

Covington, Ind. (CNS) --Mrs. Amy H. Maltsberger, 78, a life resident of Fountain County, died at 3:10 p.m. yesterday (Feb. 15, 1967) in St. Elizabeth Hospital where she had been a patient a day. Born Sept. 28, 1888 in Wabash Township, she was the daughter of Bloomer and Olive Marlatt Hershberger. She was married to Scott Albert Maltsberger and he died March 22, 1940. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Doris June Brookeshire of Veedersburg; a son, Donald G. Maltsberger of Veedersburg Route 2; and four grandchildren. She also was preceded by a brother, three sisters and a grandchild. She was a member of Coopers Chapel EUB Church, its Ladies Aid and the American Legion Auxiliary. The body is at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home and friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Lawrence West and the Rev.
