Veedersburg, July 1 – William David Maltsbarger, 72 years old, well known Fountain County farmer died at 12:30 a.m. today at his home, three miles south of here. He had been ill four years with a complication of diseases. Born July 15, 1866 near Veedersburg, the deceased was the son of David and Elizabeth Pedlock Maltsbarger, pioneer residents of this community.  He was united in marriage July 12, 1890 with Lillie Little and is survived by the widow, a son, Virgil of Veedersburg, one grandson and a brother, JA Maltsbarger of Williamsburg, Kan.  Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the late residence with the Rev. OW McGaughey officiating. Burial will be made at the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. – kbz
