COVINGTON — Mrs. Mary R. Mallory, 80, Covington Route 3, died 4:50 p.m. yesterday (April 24, 1969) at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville, where she had been a patient four days. She had been ill four months. She was born Aug. 17, 1888, in Wabash Township, Fountain County, a daughter of Samuel and Julia Hathaway Rhodes. She was married to William Homer Mallory on June 27, 1908. Mrs. Mallory is survived by her husband; two brothers, S. Clint Rhodes, Covington Route 1, and Joseph Rhodes, Covington; a sister, Mrs. L. G. (Daisy) Faust, Covington, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Mallory was preceded in death by one sister. She was a life resident of Fountain County and a member of Wabash Chapel. Services will be at 2 p.m. (EDT) Tuesday at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home with the Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
