Homer Mallory of Covington, age 93, died Sunday morning, May 10, in a hospital at Logansport. He was born in Wabash Township, Fountain County, October 1, 1887, the son of Edward Homer and Adeline Paugh Mallory. June 27, 1908, he married Mary Rhodes, who died April 26, 1969. Mallory was a member of Covington First Christian Church and a 50-year member of Tidal Lodge, Knights of Pythias. He was a retired farmer and carpenter.

  Survivors include two nieces, Mrs. Mary Kay Young of Covington and Mrs. Lucille Crowder of Perrysville; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Daisy Faust of Covington; five great nieces and seven great nephews.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington. – thanks to S
