MALLORY, Harry LeRoy

THREE GREAT ladies and wonderful genealogists saved many old obituaries and put them into a binder – they let me use them for the GenWeb page – thanks so much to Fauniel Hershberger; Claudine Yerkes and Betty Dotson (my adopted 2nd mom – loved that lady) – these were mostly mid 1940s deaths but no dates or newspapers are noted.

  
Veedersburg – Roy Mallory, 68, retired farmer died at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville where he had been a patient three days.  He had been ill for two years.  Mr. Mallory was born Oct 1, 1877 near here son of Edward and Adeline Paugh Mallory.  He farmed near here until forced to retire by ill health.  Surviving are his widow, the former Emma Howard; a brother, Homer Mallory, Covington;; three nieces and one nephew.  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the J. Fred Parham Funeral Home, Veedersburg, the Rev. OW McGaughey officiating. - kbz

Note: In Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington Harry LeRoy Mallory has a stone with wife Emma (1884-1955)but his dates do not agree with above
