MAINES, Gordon - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Gordon E. Maines of Careyville, Florida, age 65, died Sunday morning, February 8, in the hospital at Bonifay, Florida. He was born in Covington, February 11, 1915, the son of Leonard A. and Anna Maines. He married Lawanda Wilson, who survives. An employee of the former Hegeler Zinc Company, he moved to Florida in the late 1950’s.

  Also surviving are two daughters, three sons and a stepson.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Feels Mortuary in Careyville with burial in Belhamy Cemetery at Careyville. – THANKS TO S
