Newtown – Mildred Mahan, 84, formerly of Rt 3, Veedersburg, died Sunday Sept 5 at 7 p.m. in Columbine Nursing Center in Fort Collins, Colo. Born in Trenton, NJ Oct 15, 1908, she lived at Rt 3, Veedersburg moving to Fort Collins in 1983. Her husband, Amos Mahan, died Aug 24, 1983. Mrs. Mahan was a homemaker and member of Christview Christian Church in Fort Collins. Surviving are a son, John Mahan of Fort Collins and brother, Donn Bishop of Brownstown, Ind. Burial will be Thursday near Newtown. - kz
