DANVILLE, ILL. — A former resident of Danville and Covington, Ind., John W.. Madosh, age 87, of Mitchell, Ill., died Wednesday, Sept. 15, at his home.
Mr. Madosh was born Jan. 24, 1878, in Kewanee County, Wis., the son of Joseph and Eliza Foster Madosh. He was employed
as a pipe fitter at the C&EI Shops in Danville from 1901 to 1905 when he moved to Mitchell. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War. He was a member of tne Presbyterian Church, the Kiwanis Club and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by: his widow, Delight; three daughters, Letha Kibler, Jessie Williams and Blanche Siner; one son, Theodore; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Louis of Mitchell arid Oscar of Lapel, Ind., and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Stanwood of Oregon and Daisy of Grape Creek, Ill.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Mitchell Presbyterian Church. Burial was in the Mitchell Cemetery.
