WAYNETOWN --- Mrs. Ethel Macy, 55, of Homer, Ill., and a former farm resident between Mellott and Wingate, died of brain fever in an out-of-town hospital on Monday, June 20. She was born on May 8, 1900, the daughter of Carl and Cora Ginsel Beard. . She was married to Cecil J. Macy, who survives. Other survivors are three brothers, Ralph Beard of Waynetown, Russell Beard at Homer, and, Cecil of Ogden, Ill., and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Macy was preceded in death by two brothers, one of whom died in infancy, and. Raymond, who died in May of this year. Funeral services were at 4 p.m., Wednesday, in the Ogden Methodist church with burial in the G.A.R. cemetery at Homer.  -- typed by Walt W
