Mr.s. Lucy Mack, 88, died at 1 p.m. Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ray L. Geiger, Covington Route 1, after several
months of failing health. Her condition became serious two weeks ago.
She was born on Jan. 18, 1875, at Gessie, Ind., the daughter of Robert and Maria Johnson Elliott. She first was married to John F. Wright in 1895, and on Dec. 25, 1905, was married to William A. (Lon) Mack, who died on July 10, 1958
She was a former resident of Newport, and lived south of Danville, Ill., for twenty years before leaving five years ago to live with her daughter south of Covington. She was a member of 'the Hooston Church of Christ south of Danville.
Survivors include the daughter, Mrs. Geiger, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was the last of a famidy of eight brothers and sisters, and was preceded in death by two sons, Frank and Robert Mack.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Harold Dubree with burial in the Hopewell Cemetery. - jz
