CAYUGA — Funeral services , for Benjamin Mack, age 77, who died Friday, July 2, at his home, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Eugene Methodist Church. Burial, with the Watson Funeral Home in charge, was in the Newport cemetery.
Mr. Mack was born Sept. 5, 1887 in Vermillion County, Ind., the son of Oliver and Dora Newell Mack. He was married to Rosabell Murdock, who survives. He was a veteran of World War I.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are: one son, Ernest of Danville, Ill.; four daughters, Mrs. Bernice Johnson of Cayuga, Mrs. Esther Johnson of Indianola, Ill., Mrs. Rosalie Holycross of Cayuga and Mrs. Priscilla Dean Dowers, also of Cayuga; one step-daughter, Mrs. Daisy Howard of Ridgefarm, Ill.; two brothers, Ed of Cayuga and Tom of Danville; two half brothers, Ruben and Irvin; three stepbrothers, John, George and Noble Campbell; one stepsister, Mrs. Olive Dunivan; 30 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
