William Jason Fruits, 80 died at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Woodrow Nursing Home at Tangier after being a patient two days. For the past 9 years, Mr. Fruits had been employed by Hubert Delp near Grange Corner. He was born July 7, 1873 near Alamo, Ind son of William and Amanda Thomas Fruits and married Lola Hall. Survivors include a son, David of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Esther Runyon of Battle Creek, Mich and one grandchild. Funeral services were held Sunday at the Friends Union Church near Grange Corner. – kbz
