Covington, July 31 – Word was received here Saturday morning of the death of Mrs. Sarah E. Freeman, 88 who has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Roscoe Sprague of Covington for the past 18 years. Mrs. Freeman died at 2 a.m. Saturday at the home of another daughter, Mrs. Harry Rishling in Rensselaer with whom she had been visiting. Mrs. Freeman was born near Bunker Hill, Ind in August 1854. She is survived by the two daughters name above; two sons, Omer Smith of Kokomo and Charles Smith of Francesville, Ind and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services were held in Rensselaer Monday. Interment in Moody Cemetery – 1943
