FRANCIS, Calvin - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Calvin Francis, aged 44, resident of Veedersburg, the past 25 years died at 6 o’clock Friday morning at the Lake View Hospital, Danville, Ill where he had been an overnight patient, suffering from pneumonia.  Mr. Francis was born near Pine Village Sept 25, 1900, the son of Fred and Alta Francis. He married Marie Berin. He is survived by the widow and three children, Betty and Richard, both at home and Eugene with the US Navy, stationed in Philadelphia.  Three brothers and a sister also survive: Blythe Francis of Wabash; Ernest Francis of Kokomo; Fred Francis of Drew Field, Fla and Mrs. Caroline Ireland of Attica.  – kbz]
