Mrs. Golda M. Foxworthy, 79, of Hillsboro, died at 11:15 p.m. Thursday at Carmen Nursing Home. She was a lifelong resident of Fountain county. Born May 16, 1890, near Mellott, she was the daughter of Geroge and Rozella Henry Brown. She attended the former Antioch and Livengood elementary schools. She was married Feb. 10, 1915, to Lloyd Hershberger. He died in 1945. She married Archie Foxworthy Dec. 27, 1949. He preceded her in death on October of 1965. Mrs. Foxworthy was also preceded in death by a brother and a half-sister. She was a member of the New Liberty Christian church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Earl (Margaret) Summers of Hillsboro; a foster son, Lloyd Brummett of Dayton, Ohio; two grandchildren, Steve Summers of Detroit, Mich. and Mrs. Sharon Branam of Waynetown; a sister, Mrs. Elva Voorhees of Hillsboro and a brother, Russell Brown of Evansville. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Rev. James W. Whitaker will officiate. Burial will be in the Hillsboro Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday.
