Foxworthy, 87, of Hillsboro, died at 11:25 a.m. Monday, November 6, 2000 in St.
Clare Medical Center, Crawfordsville. Born near Hillsboro, on May 12, 1913, she
was the daughter of the later Walter and Cloie Elzada (Clodfelder) Long. She was
a life resident of Hillsboro, graduating from Hillsboro High School in 1931.
She was a homemaker. Her marriage was to George C. Foxworthy on November 21,
1948 in Hillsboro. He preceded her in death on October 2, 1989. Mrs. Foxworthy
was a member of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church and had been attending
Prairie Chapel Christian Church. She was a 50-year member and past worthy
matron of the Fern Chapter #194 Order of Eastern Star in Hillsboro; past grand
representative of the State of Iowa in Indiana; a member of Veedersburg Chapter
of Daughters of the American Revolution. Surviving, are: a daughter, Nancy
Foxworthy McDonald of Bunker Hill; two sons, Alan Foxworthy and David L.
Foxworthy, both of Hillsboro; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters. Visitation at Maus Funeral Home,
Hillsboro, from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday with O.E.S. memorial service at 8 p.m.
Service there on Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Kenneth Majors officiating.
Interment in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to
