FOXWORTHY, Dorothy Mears - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS) -- Mrs. Dorothy E. Foxworthy, 80, of Veedersburg Route 4, died Sunday (March 28, 1976) at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. She had been a patient 10 days. Born Oct. 16, 1895, near Elmdale, she was the daughter of Charles and Mary Stonebraker Mears. She was married on Jan. 23, 1912, to Ward R. Foxworthy, who preceded her in death. She attended Veedersburg Schools and was a member of the Sterling Christian Church. Survivors include three sons, Oscar of Veedersburg Route 4, Earl of Thorntown Route 1 and Archie of Marshall; two daughters, Mrs. Ronald ( Nellie) Jackson of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Margaret Delp of Marshall; a sister, Mrs. Onda Drollinger of Veedersburg; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, a son, three sisters and two brothers. Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Wednesday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with the Rev. Kenneth Stith officiating. Burial will be in Christian Union Cemetery at Newtown. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.  --typed by Walt W
