The funeral of Daniel FOXWORTHY, a retired farmer formerly a resident of Mellott who died at his home in Crawfordsville on Monday of last week, was conducted last Thursday afternoon, Rev. HA Davis of Indianapolis officiating and burial in Masonic Cemetery, Waynetown. The decedent was 77. He was born and spent most of his life in Fountain County. He and his family were residents of Mellott about 14 years ago. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Marion Foxworthy, Veedersburg; Frank of Waynetown; Mrs. Bell Dotson of Veedersburg; Mrs. Victoria Davis, Monte Vista, Colo; Mrs. Carson Howard of Russellville; Ray Foxworthy, Ladoga and Christine Foxworthy at home. --Transcribed by Karen Zach

Daniel Foxworthy, aged retired farmer, died at his home, 403 E. Jefferson St at 11 o'clock Monday night of the infirmities of age. He was 77 years, one month 14 days. The deceased was born in Fountain County. For many years he was a prominent farmer of the Ladoga & Waynetown communities. He moved to this city 5 years ago. Mr. Foxworthy was a member of the Christian Church. Surviving are the wife, and the following children: Marion Foxowrhty of Veedersburg; Mrs. Belle Dotson of Veedersburg; Mrs. Victoria Davis of Monte Vista, Colo; Mrs. Carson Howard of Russellville; Ray Foxworthy of Ladoga; and Christine Foxworthy of this city. The funeral services will be conducted from the home at 403 E. Jefferson Street THursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, Rev. Harry Davis of Indianapolis will probably have charge. Interment will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.  --Transcribed by Karen Zach
