FOX, Lester V. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

ATTICA – Funeral services for Lester V. Fox, age 74, of Attica Rt. 4, near Williamsport, who died at 12:18 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, of an apparent heart attack, shortly after arrival at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the DeSutter Funeral Chapel in Attica. The Rev. Geral Burt of the Hickman Heights Church officiated and burial was in Salem Cemetery, east of Attica. Mr. Fox was born June 21, 1895, in Warren County, the son of Jesse and Sarah Haupt Fox. He was a resident of Warren County all his life. He was married June 14, 1945 in Newtown, Ind., to Helen Snouwaert, who survives. He retired from farming in 1965 and moved near Williamsport. Employed as custodian of Seeger High School, he retired in June of last year. He was a veteran of World War I. His wife operates the Helen Beauty Shop in her home. – jlr
