Attica -- Funeral services were held Friday, March 8, at 2 p. m. at the DeSutter Funeral Home for Horace Victor Foster, age 73, a retired farmer and life resident of the Attica community, who died Tuesday evening, March 5, at the Small Nursing Home in Waynetown. The Rev. J. David Lang, pastor of the Christian Church officiated. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery. The son of Sylvester and Mary Cundiff Foster, he was born July 20, 1889 in Warren County. He farmed in the area for many years. Mr. Foster had been a resident of the nursing home for eight years and ill several months. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Jane Allen of Attica and Mrs. Nellie DeLaney of Green Hill.  --typed by Walt W
