FORD, Louie Jessie Stephens - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

WILLIAMSPORT -- Funeral services for Mrs. Louie Jessie Stephens Ford, age 83, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 9, at the Crowmer-Siddens Funeral Home here. The Rev. Clyde Beckner officiated and burial was in the West Lebanon cemetery. Mrs. Ford died Tuesday night, July 6, at the Community Hospital in Williamsport where she had been a patient three days. She had been ill four months. Prior to being hospitalized, she was a patient in a Cramer nursing home and before that resided at Cissna Park, Ill. She was born July 8, 1880 in Vermilion County, Ill., the daughter of Henry and Salina Jane Goodrich Stephens. She was married Sept. 20, 1899, to Orin I. Ford, who preceded her in death in 1961. She was a member of the Methodist Church at Cissna Park. Survivors include: one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Crowe of Williamsport; one brother, James Stephens, also of Williamsport, and several nieces and nephews.  --typed by Walt W
