Veedersburg, Ind. - Jasper A. Fogleman, 57, a former resident of Veedersburg, was found dead Monday (Jan 11, 1971) at his apartment 220 South, West Lafayette. He had been ill a week. Mr. Fogleman moved to West Lafayette five months ago and was employed at Purdue University. Until that time, he had resided in Veedersburg and was employed by the town street department. Born May 15, 1913, at Yeddo, Ind., he was preceded in death by his mother. Survivors include his widow, the former Margie Owens; his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Chaney O. Fogleman of Veedersburg; three sons, Jasper Jr. of Portsmouth, Va., Edwin of West Lafayette and Robin of Veedersburg a daughter, Mrs. Marietta Harrison of Kingman; and 12 grandchildren. The body is being returned to the Fishero Funeral Home. Friends will be received from 7y to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Graveside rites will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rockfield Cemetery, with the Veedersburg American Legion Post in charge.
