FLOYD, Glenn - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Newtown -Glenn "Chuck" Floyd, 58, died unexpectedly at 10 a.m. Saturday of a heart attack at his home a mile west of Newtown. He was a farmer and had lived all his married life there. A son of Marion and Jane Bryant Floyd, he was born Jan 20, 1912 at Salem, Ind. He attended Newtown HS and was wed to Lena Smith on Dec 17, 1931. Surviving are his wife and father, who lives at Wingate. His mother and a sister are deceased. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Rev. George Phelps will officiate with interment in Union Cemetery.
