Marshall – Funeral services for Mrs. Flossie Floyd, age 75 of Marshall Rt 1 who died in her home at 5 a.m. Wednesday Nov 12 were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Butler Funeral Home in Rockville. The Rev. John Servies officiated and burial was in Pashatt (sic) Cemetery northwest of Marshall.  Mrs. Floyd was born Nov 18, 1893, in Parke County, the daughter of William Henry and Sarah Ellen Thomas Hutson. She was a member of the Wolf Creek ladies Aid Society. Surviving Mrs. Floyd are two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Ratcliff of Hillsboro and Mrs. Sylvia Spragg of Kingman; one half sister, Mrs. Goldie Bryant of Waynetown; two brothers, Roy Hutson of Rockville and Ared Hutson of Veedersburg and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and two sisters. - kbz
