Veedersburg, Ind.—Clifford Florey, 68, 317 S. Mill, Veedersburg, died unexpectedly at 1 p.m. Tuesday April 17, 1973 when he suffered a heart attack at work.
Born June 2, 1904, he was the son of Richard and Bertha Smith Florey in Fountain County. He was married to Mildred Linker Aug. 2, 1924, in Covington, who survives.
He had retired after 25 years with the Hydraulic Brick Co. of Veedersburg and was employed the past two years at Sycamore Lanes in Covington. He had attended Rob Roy School.
Survivors also include two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Marjorie) Wilson and Mrs. Marlon (Janet) Brown, and a son, Jarrell Florey, all of Veedersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Burl (Velma) Shoal of Veedersburg and Mrs. Claude (Ruthellen) Linker of Rockville: and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Services were 2 p.m. Friday at the Parham Funeral Home with the Rev. Glen Youngblood officiating.

VEEDERSBURG --- Clifford Florey, 68, Veedersburg, died at 1 p.m. Tuesday after suffering a heart attack at work. He had worked as a maintenance employe of Sycamore Lanes at Covington the past two years. Previously he had been employed 25 years at Hydraulic Brick Co. of Veedersburg. He was born June 2, 1904, in Fountain County, the son of Richard and Bertha Smith Florey. He was married to Mildred Linker April 2, 1924. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Marjorie) Wilson and Mrs. Marlon (Janet) Brown, both of Veedersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Burl (Velma) Shoaf of Veedersburg and Mrs. Claude (Ruthellen) Linker of Rockville, and four grandchildren.
