FLOREY, Arthur T. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Veedersburg - Arthur T. Florey, 62, a former Veedersburg resident, died Wednesday morning at Tuscon, Ariz., where he had made his home since 1955. He was a retired grocery man and a graduate of Veedersburg High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Florey was born June 23, 1910 in Attica, a son of Clinton and Elsie Mae Smith Florey. In 1932 he was married to Helen Henry of Veedersburg, who survives. Also surviving are his mother of Waynetown; a brother, Walter of Indianapolis and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Hankins of Waynetown and Mrs. Mildred Bruhn of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by a brother, Homer, who died in 1958. Funeral services and entombment will be Monday at Tuscon.
