Frankfort – Ida May Flora, schoolteacher died at 4 a.m. Tuesday in her home at Route 1, Frankfort. Mrs. Flora formerly taught English and Latin at Kempton, Trafalgar and Cutler High Schools. Born July 17, 1902 in Coatsville, Indiana she graduated HS and Central Normal Teachers College in Danville, Ind. Mrs. Flora was a member of Moran United Methodist Church. In 1932 she was married to Russell F. Flora. He died Jan 8, 1981. Surviving are a son, George R. Flora of Frankfort; and two daughters, Phyllis Patricia Flora of Frankfort; and two daughters, Phyllis Patricia Flora of Frankfort and Linda Lou Lindsey of Lafayette.    --- transcribed by  kbz

Calling 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Goodwin Funeral Home, Frankfort. Service there 10:30 a.m. Friday the Rev. Amos McGinnis officiating. Interment Green Lawn Memorial Park.
