VEEDERSBURG — Mrs. Rinda D. Fletcher, 88, the last of a family of eight children, died at 7 a.m. Wednesday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Harry Hicks. She had been seriously ill since suffering a stroke 10 days ago. Born Sept. 1, 1878, at Waynetown, Mrs. Fletcher was the daughter of Christopher and Sarah Ellis Keeling. She was married twice, first to Henry McKinsey, who preceded her in death. Her second husband, Albert Fletcher, also preceded her in death. Mrs. Fletcher was a member of the Veedersburg EUB Church. Surviving, besides the daughter in whose home she died, are another daughter, Mrs. Albert Sheets, also of Veedersburg; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Veedersburg EUB Church, followed by burial at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Rev. Samuel Pritchard will officiate. Mrs. Fletcher was born in Waynetown Sept 1, 1867, the daughter of Christopher and Sarah Ellis Keeling. She was married to Henry McKinsey and he preceded her in death. Five children were born to this union. She later married Albert Fletcher and he also preceded her in death. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Hicks and Mrs. Albert Sheets both of Veedersburg; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was a member of the EUB Church. The body is at the Fishero Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Friday) at the EUB Church with Rev. Samuel Pritchard officiating. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic cemetery. – kbz
