FLETCHER, Clint - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

VEEDERSBURG- Clint Fletcher, 85-year-old retired merchant, died of a heart ailment at 3:30 p.m. Friday at his home here. He had been in failing health seven years and seriously ill six weeks. Mrs. Fletcher operated a clothing and drygoods store and shoe repair shop here for 30 years. He was a member of the EUB Church here. Born Jan. 4, 1879 in Montgomery County, he was a son of James H. and Julia Krout Fletcher. He was married March 14, 1903 to Julia Lang, who survives. Other survivors include a son, Russell of Danville, Ill.; and a sister, Mrs. Ethel Riley of Terre Haute. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Fishero Funeral Home here. Interment will be in Bonebrake Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home.
