Jacob M. Fix, 76, died at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette following a short illness.
Born January 20, 1883 in Fountain County, he was the son of Lawrence and Sarah Inlow Fix. He was married February 9,
1904 to Bertha Songer, who survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Leonard of Indianapolis and Lawrence of Attica; five daughters, Mrs. Carl Johnson of Attica; Mrs. Floyd Pearl of West Point, Mrs. Everett McKinzie of Lafayette, Mrs. Charles Stetler of Attica, and Mrs. Robert Boys of
Lafayette; two brothers, John & Thurman, both of Attica; 20 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held today at the Roemer Funeral Home with burial in Riverside Cemetery. - jz
