FITCH, Wilbert - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Wilbert H. Fitch, age 77 years, prominent retired farmer, passed away Wednesday Jan 2, at 12:30 at the home of his brother, Pearl Fitch at Eugene after suffering a heart attack. He had been in poor health for several years.  He was born Aug 30, 1868 in Parke County, Ind, the son of John Fitch and Mary Ann Wilson.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Cayuga. He had spent the last few years at the home of his brother and had lived most of his life in or around Cayuga.  Surviving are one brother, Pearl; one sister, Mrs. Cora Marshall at Tangier; and a half-brother, Marton at Perrysville.  Funeral services will be held at 2 Friday at the Eugene Methodist Church the Rev. Thorpe officiating. Burial will be made in the Eugene cemetery with Watson Funeral Home in charge.
