FISHERO, Sarah Williams

Hillsboro - Sarah Lou (Williams) Fishero, 81, Hillsboro passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday Sept 17, 2015 at 8:05 a.m.  Sarah Lou was born in Veedersburg, Ind on August 14, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Maurice H. and Gladys (Halsey) Williams. She was a life resident of the Hillsboro Community, graduating from HHS in 1952. She later received a degree from Indiana Business College.

Sarah Lou was a homemaker and assisted her husband in farming. She taught piano lessons to area residents for 65 years.  She was a life long and active member of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church, serving as pianist and organist for many years. She was grateful to God for the musical talents in which she was blessed.

On Oct 10-, 1954 Sarah Lou married Billy G. Fishero in Hillsboro. He preceded her in death Jan 26, 1998.  She leaves behind two sons, Jeffrey L. (Michele) Fishero and Thomas L. (Jody) Fishero, both of Hillsboro; a sister, Carolyne Schimmel, Frankfort; 7 grandchildren (Jessica Fishero; Gary (Amanda) Fisher; Emily (Brandon) Youngdale; Wesley (Megan) Fishero; Jared Fishero; Maggie Fishero and Lillian Fishero; two great grandchildren, Thomas and Lucille Fishero, along with her church family.  She was preceded in death by a grandson, Bradley Fishero and a brother, Halsey "Bud" H. Williams.  Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Hillsboro on Tuesday Sept 22nd from 4-8 p.m. Services will be held at the Hillsboro United Methodist Church on Wednesday Sept 23rd at 11 a.m. with Pastor Frank Sablan officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Southeast Fountain Community Foundation/Bradley Fishero Scholarship or the Hillsboro United Methodist Church.
