Covington – Mrs. Agnes Frances Fisher, age 91, died at 7:45 a.m. Friday Nov 21 at her home at 613 Second St, Covington. Mrs. Fisher was born Aug 10, 1878 at Vincennes, the daughter of Nicholas and Ellen Moyes Messel. She was married twice first to Zachariah Ferguson who preceded her in death June 21, 1921. She then married Clyde Fisher on Oct 2, 1922 and he survives. Mrs. Fisher had been a resident of Covington since 1930. Prior to then, she lived in Vincennes. She was a member of the First Church of Christ in Covington. Surviving Mrs. Fisher in addition to the husband are three sons: Clarence M. Ferguson of Indianapolis; Loren E of Syracuse, Ind and David C. Ferguson of Covington Rt 1; 8 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sons, two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home. The Rev. EE McConnell officiated and burial was in the Bend Cemetery, northwest of Covington.
