FIRESTONE, Grace - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Miss Grace Alice Firestone died in her sleep Tuesday night at her home, 221 1/2 E. Mulberry St. She had been in failing health for some time. Miss Firestone was born in Fountain County, near Hillsboro, the daughter of P. W. and Edna Firestone. The family lived in Waynetown, Montgomery County and Fowler, Ind., before coming to Komomo. For many years the family home was at 417 N. Union St. The parents, to whom she was a devoted daughter, preceded her in death as did three brothers and one sister. The only survivor is a sister, Mrs. Lola Hofmann, the last of the family, and who has cared for Miss Firestone during her last illness. The body is at the Jacobs Funeral Home where Christian Science services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Crown Point Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Thursday.
