FINNEY, Lucille Newnum - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Kingman - Mrs. Lucille Finney, 77, a former Kingman resident, died Thursday evening in Britton Hospital at Britton, S.D. She had lived in South Dakota for about eight years. Mrs. Finney was a member of the Kingman United Methodist Church, Chariot Rebekah Lodge 517, Pythian Temple 250 and Order of Eastern Star Chapter 204. Born in Parke county on Dec. 7, 1898, she was a daughter of Embert and Nancy Atkinson Newnum. She married Harry Finney on June 20, 1925. He died March 10, 1969. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marion (Helen) Fabert of Takoma, Wash.; a son, the Rev.Charles Lee Finney of White Lake, S.D.; a brother, Conny Newnum of Tangier; and six grandchildren.
