FINNEY, Charles Digby

Charles Digby Finney, 63, of Attica, died at 2:30 a.m. Monday, March 16, 1959, in the Danville Veterans Administration Hospital.
Mr.. Finney was associated with the Farmers and Merchants Bank of Attica and the Lafayette Savings Bank.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Attica and was formerly a trustee of the church.
Born February 10, 1896, in Attica, he was the son of Dr. Charles Joseph and Margaret Digby Rice Finney.  He was graduated
from Attica High School and attended Wabash College prior to entering military service during World War I.
Surviving are his wife, the former Alice McCorkle to whom he was married in 1935, and two daughters, Margaret and Gretchen, both at home.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with burial in Meharry Cemetery north of Wingate.  - jz
