FERGUSON, Louis E. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Louis E. Ferguson, age 73, of 204 @. Bond St, Attica, died at 3:21 a.m. Thursday, Aug 2, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette. He had been a patient one week following an illness of more than a year. Born Aug 15, 1888, in Jefferson County, he was the son of Allen and Melinda Burton Ferguson. He had been a farmer and employee at the Harrison Steel Foundry. He was married Oct 12, 1912, to Ollie Westfall, who preceded him in death in 1959. He was a member of the Attica Christian Church. Survivors include a son, Arnold of Clarkshill; and two brothers, Sam of Commiskey and Elmer of Shelbyville. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the DeSutter Funeral Home, Attica. The Rev. J. David Lang officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
