A brief burial service was held at the Masonic Cemetery Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Ruth (CJ) Fenters, by the Rev. Otto Williams of the Christian Church, Attica. Mrs. Fenters passed away at her home in Attica early February 3 and funeral services were held there. The bereaved husband will reside in Attica with his parents, who will also care for his 9-weeks old son, Richard Kedrick. -kbz

Waynetown, March 3 - Ruth Fenters, a former resident of this vicinity died at her home in Attica Friday morning at 1 o'clock. Mrs. Fenters had been ill since the birth of an infant son December 28th. She had been seriously ill for three weeks. She was born near Wallace, Jan 29, 1904, the daughter of Charles and Emma Brown Blackford. She was married to Jay Fenters Feb 27, 1932. She was a member of the Ingersoll Chapel Church. Surviving are the husband and infant son; her mother, two brothers, Ariel and Albert all of Waynetown and a sister, Mrs Marie White of Attica. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home in Attica with burial in the Waynetown cemetery.The casket will be opened at the cemetery. - kbz
