FELGENHAUER, Mary Yocum

Covington – Mrs. Mary Magdalene Felgenhauer, age 76 of Georgetown, Ill mother of Mrs. Mary Noble and Mrs. Betty Bell both of Covington died at 10 p.m. Saturday Jan 4 at Lake View Memorial Hospital in Danville, Ill. She had been in failing health three years. Mrs. Felgenhauer was born in Brazil, Ind Sept 12, 1892, the daughter of Frank and Martha Ann Reffett Yocum. She was married to Frank Felgenhauer in Clinton, Oct 30, 1909 and he survives. Surviving in addition to the husband are six daughters: Mrs. Mabel Dowers and Mrs. Norma Hurst, both of Georgetown; Mrs. Edith Biggs of Montebello, Calif; Mrs. Helen Johnston of Danville and Mrs. Noble and Mrs. Bell of Covington; one son, Jack of Ridgefarm Rt 1; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Lambert of Clinton and Mrs. Bertha Fletcher of Minneapolis, Minn; three brothers, Manuel Yocum and Earl Yocum both of Clinton and Jack Yocum of Indianapolis; 42 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, one son, three sisters and three brothers. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today Jan 8 at the Houghton Funeral Home in Georgetown. The Rev. David Parks officiated and burial was in Forest Park Cemetery east of Georgetown. – kbz
