AUBURN — Virginia Fee, 82, Auburn, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007 in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Worth. She was born Aug. 28, 1925, in Covington, the daughter of Homer and Effie (Myers) McDonald. She married Leland Fee of Hamilton on July 10, 1948 in Covington. He survives. She was a graduate of Covington High School and then Purdue University in 1947. She taught at Ashley High School and later was a substitute teacher at DeKalb High School. As a member of the Auburn Presbyterian Church, she was active in the Omega Fellowship and had served as an elder as well as a deacon. She was a member of the former Auburn Woman's Club and the Kenwig Literary Club. Survivors, besides the husband, include: five children, Christine (Albert) Cavazos, LaJoya, Texas, Brian (Lanette) Fee, Chapel Hill, N.C., Lisa Baum, Hobe Sound, Fla., David Fee, Gainesville, Ga. and Janet (Michael) Fisher, Valrico, Fla.; step grandchildren, Albert, Jaime and Carlos Cavazos; grandchildren, John, Melissa and Amelia Fee, Bradley and Tyler Baum, and Ryan and Zachary Fisher; a brother, Homer (Esteleen) McDonald, Hillsboro; and her beloved dog, Apache. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday in Auburn Presbyterian Church with the Revs. Nancy D. Becker and Bill Haworth officiating. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery, Auburn. Feller and Clark Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. The family requests no flowers be sent and memorials be sent to the Auburn Presbyterian Church. - kbz
